Bora is definitely the place to be during summer!! It's a lively island packed with people enjoying the sun, sand and the sea. But if you want a peaceful respite, this is not the place to go.
What I like best about going to boracay is swimming in the afternoons and eating buffet meals at night without a nagging conscience. And talking about swimming, I've finally conquered my fear of swimming in the vast open seas... Of course, with a life vest on!! Otherwise, I would not dare to swim, not with my super mediocre swimming prowess.. :) At least, I'm not afraid to snorkel anymore and swim with the fishes.. hehehehhehe
But if you'll ask me whether I like to go to bora in the summer or during semestral break, my answer would be "it depends." It depends on my mood. :)
